Kristie writes women’s fiction centered on friendship, reinvention, and the quiet strength it takes to begin again. A rural Illinois native now living in Chicago, she finds herself drawn to the charm of small-town life—places where people know your name, secrets run deep, and second chances bloom.

When she’s not reading or writing, Kristie can be found cooking with seasonal ingredients from her local farmer’s market or tending to her backyard garden, where she grows flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Her family—including two nearly grown sons, a lazy labradoodle, and a wonderfully supportive husband—are at the heart of everything she does.
