If you’re a basil lover, this versatile basil oil dressing is a must-try. With just five simple ingredients, it adds a burst of flavor to everything from salads and pasta to meats and crusty bread. Once you try it, you’ll never have enough fresh basil!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup packed basil, stemmed, washed, and dried

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of water

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Place the basil, water, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes in mini-food processor and pulse a few times. Add the olive oil and blend until you have a smooth sauce. meats, eggs, vegetables, pizza, and pasta.
  • Drizzle it on meats, eggs, vegetables, pizza, pasta, and salads!
  • Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 to 3 days.
