  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 2-3 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
  1. Add the unsweetened almond milk to your blender. Add the frozen banana, almond butter, raw cacao powder, pitted dates, and protein powder to the blender. If you prefer a thicker consistency, add the ice cubes to the blender as well. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until all ingredients are completely combined and the smoothie reaches your desired consistency, about 30-60 seconds. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy immediately.
