Ingredients
1 cup water (can use other liquid, but water keeps calorie count down)
1 banana
1 apple, cored and cut
1 cup spinach
2 tablespoons chia or hemp seeds
1 scoop protein powder, vanilla or unflavored
1 cup of ice
Directions
- Add water, banana, apple, spinach, chia or hemp seeds, protein powder, and ice to blender.
- Blend until smooth.
Notes
- You can pre-cut the apples and bananas, place them in a freezer bag, and freeze them to speed up the smoothie-making process. If you use frozen fruit, there’s no need to add ice!
